A view of the cliff dwellings at Montezuma's Castle National Monument in Arizona. Built by the Sinagua (without water) people about 900 years ago, they lived there for almost 400 years, then abandoned it. The site is one of our first National Monuments, created in 1906 by Theodore Roosevelt.
Art Dodd is a self-taught photographer currently living in South Florida who’s been photographing since 1975. Originally educated as an Electrical Engineer, he retired in 2010 to become a volunteer Florida Park Ranger at Jonathan Dickinson State Park. This gets him up close and personal with nature, one of his favorite subjects to photograph. He also enjoys travelling to and photographing other places. Various trips have taken him to places like Panama, Alaska, Maine, Mexico, Costa Rica, Spain, and others. In addition to nature photography, he photographs events for District 8 (South Florida) and the Palm Beach Sail and Power Squadron of the United States Power Squadrons and has had photographs published in many of their newsletters.
